Salmon SEEson, Sept 23 10:00-1:00pm, Codiga Park

Join us in celebrating the epic journey of our Green-Duwamish Salmon – all 5 species, as they return home. There will be fun activities, live music, free native plants to the first 100 guests, tours of the park habitat and river. Come learn about how you can help the salmon and local wildlife, and how to get involved in sustaining healthy habitat in Tukwila. See you at the river.
For your convenience, please park at Tukwila Community Center, we will have a shuttle running every half hour to the park. 12424 42nd Ave S, Tukwila, WA 98168 .  For more information join our Facebook event.


Wear your craziest socks and help others by donating socks to the Spirit of Giving Campaign. Spirit of Giving volunteers collect household items and gifts to be distributed to Tukwila families in need. Raffle tickets will be given to those wearing unique and crazy socks and a ticket for each pack of socks donated.
This course meanders through Foster Golf Links and along the beautiful Green River Trail. Sorry, no bikes, skates or skateboards will be allowed on the course. Baby jogger strollers are welcome, and dogs must be on a leash.

Help us to celebrate our first-ever Green Tukwila Day! This will be a day focused on bettering the health of Tukwila’s forests. Volunteers will plant trees and other plants that will become the future forest of the park. All community members are welcome, and no experience is necessary! The event is family friendly and open to all ages.
