The City’s 2017-2018 budget process has begun, and we would love your input as we move forward on this critical initiative. Every two years the City produces a biennial budget, which is the City’s financial roadmap for the next two years. The City has used its Strategic Plan – adopted in 2012- as a guiding document for each biennial budget. Priorities for the following two years are developed based on the goals and objectives found in the Strategic Plan, and then departmental work plans are developed based on those priorities.
The City has kicked off a public participation effort and would like to hear from you. If you couldn’t make it to one of the budget open houses in person, you still have the opportunity to participate in an online open house on the City’s website and share your thoughts on the 2017-2018 priorities and proposed work plan items.
