Councilmember Dennis Robertson

Council Position No. 4

Term of Office: January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2019.

Time on the Council: I served from 1987 to 1995, returned in 2004, and have been on the Council since.

Occupation: I retired as an Information Systems Manager from Boeing. However, I have worked a wide variety of jobs that ranged from driving taxi cabs to program management of sizeable computer system developments. I have an Undergraduate Degree in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Washington. I also served six years in the U.S. Air Force.

Family: My wife, Karen, and I have lived in the community since 1975. We have one daughter, Deedee, who lives with her family in Burien and a son, Travis, who lives with his family in San Marcos, CA. We currently have four grandchildren who we are spoiling without any shame or remorse.

Hobbies: Writing, fishing, hunting, sleeping, hiking, woodworking, gardening, traveling.
