Community Events

Get to know your neighbors while building community in Tukwila by attending one of Tukwila Parks and Recreation’s seasonal events.   Check out the Spring/Summer 2019 line up:

Wednesday, June 26: See You in the Park: Hazelnut Park Hootenanny, 5:30 – 7:30pm: Bring your neighbors and join us for an evening of music, history, art, food, and a happening good time! Location: 14475 59th Ave S:

Wednesday, July 10: See You in the Park: Bicentennial Park Bash, 5:30 – 7:30pm: Walk, ride, or run into the park for an evening of music, art, food and a celebration along Green-Duwamish River Trail. Location: 6000 Christensen Rd.

Wednesday, July 25: See You in the Park: Crestview Bark in the Park, 5:30 – 7:30pm: Bring your pooch and plan to have a hound-errific evening in one of Tukwila’s newest dog play areas. Special treats for humans and canine friends, music, art and more! Location: 16200 42nd Ave. S.

Saturday, July 27: Touch a Truck Safety & Emergency Prep. Fair, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Kids and caregivers get to climb on big rigs, check out tractors, and pretend to drive a fire truck or bus while gathering resources and information to help prepare for emergency situations and events.

Wednesday, August 7: See You in the Park: See You in the Sprinklers, 5:30 – 7:30pm: We’re turning up the sprinkler system for a splashing-good time and sweet summer treats at the Tukwila Community Center. Location: 12424 42nd Ave.

Wednesday, August 21: See You in the Park: Sullivan Center Summer Shindig, 5:30 – 7:30pm: Celebrate summer and community with music, dance, and food. Local organizations and resources will be onsite to share in the fun! Location: 14350 Tukwila International Blvd.
