Fitness & Wellness
Our Fitness and Wellness staff are committed to providing opportunities that help people feel good, be healthy, and have fun.
Updated 3/30/2021: In accordance with the Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery Plan, Tukwila Parks and Recreation has implemented several health and safety measures to help limit the spread of Covid-19.
The following guidelines must be followed in Phase 3.
- A minimum of 6 feet of physical distance must be maintained at all times.
- Face Coverings must be worn at all times.
- Class and fitness space is limited to 50% capacity.
- Restrooms will be open for bathroom use and handwashing only.

In addition to the above guidelines, a Covid Screening Questionaire is required prior to entering TCC along with a temperature check upon arrival. Please do not visit if you are feeling ill or have been around someone else who has felt ill.
Fees & Membership
Become a member of the Tukwila Community Center Fitness and Wellness Program to receive discounts, special program offerings, and more. You do not need to be a member to use the facility, affordable drop-in fees are also an option. Note, at this time, appointments must be made in advance to secure fitness use. Fitness Area Options:
Fitness Room: This space includes circuit equipment, free weights, treadmill, stair stepper recumbent bike, and an upright bike, for additional options, please see additional spaces. Max Occupancy: 7
Fitness Studio: This space is set up with the following equipment: upright exercise bike, elliptical with arm movement, dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, and medicine balls. Max Occupancy: 1 person, up to 3 people from the same household.
Cardio Studio: This space includes elliptical, recumbent bike, rowing machine, space for ab workouts. Free weights can be brought into the space. Max Occupancy: 1 person, up to 3 people from the same household.
TCC Fitness Hours
Monday – Thursday – 6:30am – 6:30pm
Fridays – 6:30am – 2:30pm
Saturdays 7:30 – 10:30 am
Click Here for Appointments/Reservations – Fitness room appointments are 90 minutes per session and must be made in advance. Appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance. Participants who have an active membership/insurance partner membership/annual membership are eligible to make reservations. To reactivate memberships please call TCC during business hours, 206-768-2822, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please limit your bookings to no more than 4 reservations per week. Additional reservations may be made the morning of if space allows.
Group Fitness Classes
In-person group fitness classes can be reserved up to two weeks in advance. Click Here for Appointments/reservations Classes are taught by well-trained, highly motivating instructors in a fun and safe environment. Classes are limited to 50% capacity, register early to reserve your space.

Virtual Older Adult Fitness & Wellness
FREE Senior Zoom Classes w/ Christine: Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:00am – 11:50am. Classes include 30 minutes of movement, followed by 20 minutes of social time. Attendees can request to have a fitness pack delivered to their door which includes small hand weights, ankle weights, an exercise ball, and exercise band. Silver & Fit This exercise and healthy aging program is specifically designed for older adults who want to improve their quality of life through exercise and fun.
