Tukwila’s program and\ninitiative are called “Green Tukwila.”   Together with Forterra\, EarthCorps\, Duwamish Alive Coalition\, Dirt Corps\, King County Parks\, and the Tukwila community\, Green Tukwila will care for public parks and natural open spaces across the city. Throughout the next 20 years\, the partnership will work to restore and maintain 138 acres of Tukwila’s urban forest.\n\n\n\n\n\nGET INVOLVED TODAY!\nTo do this great work we need everyone’s help. Join friends\, neighbors\, and bring your families outside to learn about trees\, shrubs\, invasive plants\, how to use tools\, and much more. DESCRIPTION:STORMWATER MANAGEMENT ACTION PLANNING (SMAP) PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT AND PARTICIPATION \nThe City is seeking public input to help prioritize one watershed in the city that would benefit most from stormwater management actions intended to conserve\, protect or restore streams; reduce pollutant loading; and address hydrologic impacts from development.  For the selected watershed\, the City will identify and develop strategies and/or actions to reduce pollution and improve overall water quality. DESCRIPTION:TUKWILA PD PRESENTS CRUISE WITH COPS 2.0 \nJoin us for our second Cruise with Cops on Wednesday\, June 29th. We’ll meetup at Cascade View Park and roll out to the neighborhoods in the Cascade View neighborhood and along Tukwila International Blvd. \nThis is a laid back\, fun ride and a very leisurely pace so all are welcome regardless of skill level. If you don’t want to ride that’s ok too. Stop by before or after we roll or if you see us come outside and say hi. Let us know what is going on in your neighborhood and how we can become aware of and find solutions to your neighborhoods public safety issues. \nAll riders must bring a bike and helmet to participate. \n
