Registrations done by mail need to be received\, not postmarked\, by the 8 day deadline. \nThree ways to register\n1. Online\nYou can register online \, 24 hours a day\, at the Washington Secretary of State’s website. \nTo register online\, you will need: \n\nA current Washington State driver license\, or\nA current Washington State ID card\n\nIf you do not have either of these\, you can still register by mail or in-person. \n2. By mail\nDownload and print a voter registration form  and mail it to King County Elections. Forms are available in many languages. \n3. In-person\nYou can register to vote in-person at the King County Elections Office in Renton or at a Vote Center. \nYou can also register to vote at one of our community events. \nWho can register\nNew Effective January 1\, 2022\, if you have been convicted of a felony in Washington State\, another state\, or federal court\, your right to vote is restored as long as you are not currently serving a DOC sentence in total confinement. Going forward\, voting rights are immediately restored upon release from prison\, regardless of community supervision status. Tukwila’s program and\ninitiative are called “Green Tukwila.”   Together with Forterra\, EarthCorps\, Duwamish Alive Coalition\, Dirt Corps\, King County Parks\, and the Tukwila community\, Green Tukwila will care for public parks and natural open spaces across the city. Throughout the next 20 years\, the partnership will work to restore and maintain 138 acres of Tukwila’s urban forest.\n\n\n\n\n\nGET INVOLVED TODAY!\nTo do this great work we need everyone’s help. Join friends\, neighbors\, and bring your families outside to learn about trees\, shrubs\, invasive plants\, how to use tools\, and much more. We’ll meetup at Cascade View Park and roll out to the neighborhoods in the Cascade View neighborhood and along Tukwila International Blvd. \nThis is a laid back\, fun ride and a very leisurely pace so all are welcome regardless of skill level. If you don’t want to ride that’s ok too. Stop by before or after we roll or if you see us come outside and say hi. Let us know what is going on in your neighborhood and how we can become aware of and find solutions to your neighborhoods public safety issues. \nAll riders must bring a bike and helmet to participate. \n

Everyone is welcome to join.\n\n\n\n\nCruise With Cops is the first in a series of neighborhood safety programs meant to bring the community and officers together to tackle neighborhood safety and crime issues together.\n\n\nChief Drever who is a former Tukwila PD bike officer will be joining riders and answering questions.
