All registered participants will receive a Zoom link the day before the event or a half hour before the start of the event – if you register the day of. \n  \nThursday\, April 7th\, 2022: 7:00PM-8:00PM : Recycling and Composting 101 .\n\n\n\n\n\nBecome an expert on what is recyclable or compostable at your house\, apartment or condo in Tukwila. Find out what happens to our materials after they are picked up from our homes. Learn about local resources for handling unusual items for proper disposal like mattresses\, batteries\, paint\, plastic bags and toxic cleaners. \n  \nFriday\, April 15th; 12 :00PM-1:00PM: Zero Waste 101 .\nJoin us for an action packed hour on items YOU can do to reduce your waste. Attendees will learn how to make non toxic cleaners with common household items\, how to store food properly to reduce wasted food and how to reduce packaging.
