Aimed at all high school students in the Seattle Southside area\, this FREE program focuses on preparation for and exploration of a myriad of post-secondary education opportunities right here at home. \nOver five days\, participants can look forward to developing skills to improve their chances of success in any professional setting as well as exploring local internship and career opportunities available in their own backyards. DESCRIPTION:Application Due Date: March 24\, 2024 \nWorkshop Dates: April 20 & 21\, 2024 \nWorkshop Host: Shoreline Fire Department \nTo register\, visit https://bit.ly/SHORELINEFWIEF \n  \nThis workshop is designed for women in King County\, age 18 or older\, who are interested in pursuing a career in Emergency Medical Services or serving their community as a Firefighter or a paramedic. The workshop is free\, and participants are selected through an application process. Complete the application by Mar 24 to be considered. \nThose who are selected to join the workshop spend a weekend exploring the world of Fire and EMS\, participating in CPR training\, EMS and Fire demonstrations\, discussion panels hosted by women from various agencies around the county\, and hands-on training.
