National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight for a safer nation. On NNO\, we invite neighborhoods citywide to join us and “give crime a going away party”. \nTukwila Police and Fire Departments as well as City Council Members and departmental representatives will visit your community neighborhoods. \nTypes of neighborhood events vary.   Most neighborhoods plan a potluck bar-b-que to take advantage of the wide and wonderful ethnic food contributions Tukwila residents have to offer.   Don’t limit your ideas!   This is your time to bring your neighbors together for a fun evening. \nLet’s make this the biggest Night Out Against Crime ever in Tukwila!   Police and other City representatives will be available to visit your neighborhood event after 5:30 p.m. \n\n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Held throughout the city!   The 25th  Tukwila Community Garage Sale will take place on Saturday August 18\, 2018.   Save the date to hold a sale at your home at the same time as residents throughout Tukwila.   Clean your closets\, earn money\, shop for bargains and meet your neighbors while you support reuse and recycling. \nThe City of Tukwila will advertise the Garage Sale event in community newspapers and online.   You will also receive a yard sale kit with a small sign and helpful tips. \nThe sale kit materials will be mailed out during the week of August 6th.
