Throughout the next 20 years\, the partnership will work to restore and maintain 138 acres of Tukwila’s urban forest.\n\n\n\n\n\nGET INVOLVED TODAY!\nTo do this great work we need everyone’s help. This Saturday\, August 21 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm we will be having an Oodles of Noodles Food Drive Challenge at Saar’s Super Saver Foods – 3725 S 144th St. \nVolunteers will be on hand to give you shopping lists and receive your generous donations of food. Although our goal is to collect 1\,000 Cup Noodles\, we will be asking for other donations\, such as bottled water and boxes of heart healthy cereal.  We cannot accept donations of fresh produce at this time since we will not distribute food bags until after school starts.

DESCRIPTION:  \nFOR BECU MEMBERS ONLY – \nPaper documents are a common source of identity theft. Protect yourself by shredding sensitive documents at our free\, contactless shredding event. We’ll also accept old TVs\, CPUs\, monitors\, laptops and cellphones for safe disposal. A small recycle fee may apply to some electronic items such as printers and VCRs. \nOur Tukwila location will accept bike donations on behalf of Bike Works. \nWhile you’re at it\, consider helping neighbors in need by donating cash or nonperishable food to our local food banks. We’ll have a representative on site to collect your donations. \n\n\nShred up to three grocery bags or two banker boxes\ne-Cycle TVs\, CPUs\, monitors\, laptops and cell phones*\nShred until the trucks are full\n\n\n\nCash Donations\n\nRepresentatives will be on-site to collect cash or nonperishable food for donation to local food banks.\n\n\n\n\n\nUsed Bike Donations\nBike Works\, a local nonprofit and bike shop dedicated to making cycling accessible and affordable to all\, will be at our Tukwila location collecting used bicycles. Bring your bike to the Tukwila shredding site and help make a difference to a child or adult in need of two wheels. \n\n\n\n\nAdditional Details\nBECU employees are on-site during the event to help members shred and e-Cycle. Documents are destroyed by Shred-it\, a professional document destruction service with a mobile shredding unit.
