At the Duwamish Hill Preserve we will be tackling some invasive weeds\, and spreading mulch to help native plants flourish through the summer! This is a great way to give back to your local community\, and also is an awesome opportunity to meet some new faces\, to get your hands dirty\, and to get outside and connect with the Green-Duwamish River! \n  \nInterested in volunteering with us for Duwamish Alive?   Please  email Alex at aselvey@forterra.org so we know to expect you! \n  \nWHAT TO BRING:   Please dress for the weather because we will be working rain or shine! Boots or comfortable athletic shoes\, work clothes\, appropriate layers for rain and sun. Volunteers should also bring a refillable water bottle; snacks and lunch will be provided\, so make sure to stick around! \nRestoration training\, tools and gloves will also be provided.
