DESCRIPTION:GREEN TUKWILA PARTNERSHIP is restoring 138 acres of forest and open green spaces over the next 20 years. The only way to accomplish this goal is with the support of partners and volunteers. Thank you for being a part of the solution!\n\n\n\n\nGreen Tukwila is following Public Health Guidelines to keep volunteers and staff safe during work parties. \nJoin friends\, neighbors\, and bring your families outside to learn about trees\, shrubs\, invasive plants\, how to use tools\, and much more. Work parties are being planned for community members and businesses to care for precious urban forests and to ensure healthy\, safe\, and beautiful public spaces to enjoy in the future. \n\nUPCOMING EVENTS\nVolunteer work parties and workshops have limited numbers to ensure the safety of stewards\, volunteers\, and staff. Come join the “You Got Next TUKWILA! – Basketball & Community Festival” \nThis is a FREE event! \nEach youth that is registered for event will receive a free t-shirt and basketball. Registration required for each youth participant. – Register HERE! \n  \nAbout this event \nCome join us for a basketball and community festival sponsored by the King County Play Equity Coalition and the Seattle Sports Commission. This event will be a day of family fun centered around the opportunity to participate in various forms of basketball programming and engage with local community-based organizations. \nWho: Ages 5+. All youth and families invited. \n\nThere will be different programming options based on current level of basketball experience. No previous basketball experience required.\n\n\nYouth with physical disabilities and intellectual disabilities are invited to attend and participate in unified programming.
