For one glorious August afternoon\, the northbound lanes of Tukwila International Boulevard closed to traffic.  More than 1\,500 people came together to enjoy food\, dance\, music\, and soccer with their neighbors. \nNow a 501(c)(3)\,  Action Tukwila continues to evolve and launch new projects.

Come find out how every weed you pull matters and get involved in this local project! \nWhat to bring:  Come dressed for the weather (rain or shine) in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (rubber boots\, hiking/tennis shoes)\, long sleeves\, long pants\, warm layers and bring a rain jacket. We’ll have tools and gloves for you to use! Help reduce waste by bringing your own refillable water bottle if you have one.All ages are welcome\, but we encourage all volunteers under the age of 15 to be accompanied by an adult.
