Join our Shred Events in Tukwila\, Federal Way\, Everett or Bellingham. \nAt each event\, we’ll also collect cash\, nonperishables\, food\, clothing and household items to support a nonprofit in your neighborhood. \nAll events will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, and we’ll shred until the trucks are full. \n\n\n\n\nMain Event Highlights\n\nBring up to three grocery bags or two banker boxes of sensitive documents for us to shred at no cost to you.\nYou may also bring old TVs\, desktop computers\, computer monitors\, laptops and cellphones for safe disposal. We are seeking artists to create artwork for this year’s program. SUMMARY:King County Diversity & Recruitment Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join the KCFCA Diversity & Recruitment Workshop\, hosted by the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority\, to learn everything you need to know about starting and maintaining a rewarding career in Fire\, EMS\, and other first response or public health opportunities. This event is completely FREE and designed to help potential candidates be successful in the pre-hiring\, hiring\, training\, and career segments of their professional journey. The classes covered in this workshop include:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFirefighter written exam preparation\nOral board interview preparation\nWellness and fitness requirements and preparation\nPsych and background check expectations and preparation\nA Day in the Life of a Firefighter\n\nBreakfast and lunch are generously sponsored by King County EMS and feature local eateries selected by the Shoreline Fire Department.
