Bring your documents and electronics to one of three BECU locations below. While you’re packing up the car\, grab non-perishable goods and help us support local food banks. \n \n\n\n\nIs Free Really Free?\nPay nothing to shred up to three grocery bags or two banker boxes full of paper (limits strictly enforced) and recycling of TVs\, CPUs\, computer monitors\, laptops\, and cell phones. There may be a small fee to recycle any other items. BECU employees will be onsite to help members shred and eCycle. DESCRIPTION:Bring in your small household items and clothing\, and our expert “fixers” will try to repair and mend them.   FREE TO THE PUBLIC! \nThe first one was held Aug. 13\, 2016\, at Valley Ridge Park\, where we worked on 51 items and fixed or helpfully diagnosed more than 90 percent of them. \nWith these repair events\, we aim to keep stuff out of the landfill\, conserve resources and save you money! \nTo sign up to attend\, or if you have questions\, please contact  Tom Watson  at 206-477-4481. \n\n\n\nYou must be present during the repair. Our experienced all-purpose fixers and sewing fixers will try to repair or mend your items\, and can also sometimes help you learn how to fix them next time. There are no guarantees an item can be fixed\, or that attempting to fix it won’t break it even more. \nPlease only bring items small enough to be easily carried in by one person. Do not bring any items that are leaking\, dangerous\, use gasoline\, or have a strong odor.
