The Tukwila Village Farmers Market’s origin dates back to 2018 when it was operating as a single farm stand – the Namaste Farm Stand\, named after IRC’s Namaste Community Garden based in Tukwila. As New Roots gained access to farmland in Kent in 2021\, existing and new growers gained opportunity to increase their production\, in turn growing the number of beginning farmers participating at the market. In 2025\, IRC New Roots took on sole management of the market after Global 2 Local closed its doors. The Tukwila Village Farmers Market prioritizes food access for SNAP users and encourages its vendors to offer SNAP-eligible products. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n2026 Vendors\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNamuna Garden \nTheary’s Flowers & Produce \nKEZAMA \nAnugraha Garden \nApple Guy \nNew Roots Community Farm Stand \nRainier Honey Co \nStems N’ Caps \nVa Garden  \n\n\n2026 Programming\nMusic by Ron Fowler –  July 15 & 29\, August 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 \nCommunity Organizations – Tabling\nReach out to the Market Contact and we’ll get you scheduled! \n\n\n___________________________\nMarket Contact\nKhue Tran\nNew Roots Markets & Food Access Coordinator\nEmail:   khue.tran@rescue.org \nMore info:   https://www.newrootsseattle.org/tvfm \n___________________________\nDISCLAIMER:    Third-party links\, resources\, and services are being provided as a convenience and for informational purposes only; the City of Tukwila does not endorse or approve any of the products\, services\, or opinions of these third parties and bears no responsibility for the accuracy\, legality\, or content of the external sites or related links. \nShould you have any questions\, please contact the external sites and providers directly and proceed with caution when accessing any unfamiliar websites or links.

DESCRIPTION:NEW LOCATION\, SAME HOURS! \nWednesdays  \nJune 17\, 2026  –  September 30\, 2026 \n 3 pm – 7 pm \nCascade View Community Park\n14211 37th Avenue S \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nView Flyer in More Languages\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA Food Access Market \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGlobal to Local’s Food Innovation Network and IRC’s New Roots program joined forces to bring fresh\, cultural produce to a low-food access neighborhood where the produce is grown by and for immigrant communities.
