DESCRIPTION:EARTH DAY   –   RESTORE YOUR RIVER AT THE DUWAMISH SHORELINE\n \n \n\nJoin hundreds of friends and neighbors at our annual spring Duwamish Alive! event along the Duwamish Shoreline behind BECU in Tukwila! \nAt the Duwamish Shoreline\,  we will be removing  some invasive weeds that are choking out native plants and spreading mulch to continue to bring this location back to its former glory! While you’re here\, keep an eye out for otter\, osprey and other wildlife making their home along the river’s edge. We’ll have a great view of an osprey nest and some occasional otter and bunny sightings while we work next to the river. What greater way to start you weekend than by getting your hands dirty\, convening with nature and doing something great for your community and the environment. \nWhat to Bring: Please come prepared with weather appropriate clothes\, close-toed shoes\, and a water bottle. We’ll provide the gloves\, tools and training!
