This Saturday\, August 21 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm we will be having an Oodles of Noodles Food Drive Challenge at Saar’s Super Saver Foods – 3725 S 144th St. \nVolunteers will be on hand to give you shopping lists and receive your generous donations of food. Although our goal is to collect 1\,000 Cup Noodles\, we will be asking for other donations\, such as bottled water and boxes of heart healthy cereal.  We cannot accept donations of fresh produce at this time since we will not distribute food bags until after school starts.

Thanks to GM Pat Senn of Saar’s Super Saver Foods for offering to have key foods on display at the entrance to the store for your shopping convenience. Since our first distribution will not take place until the middle of October\, we will NOT be accepting donations of produce at this time.

SUMMARY:SnackPack Stuff the Bus Campaign
DESCRIPTION:STUFF THE BUS to make sure no child goes hungry!   Thanks to your generous donations in November\,  the SNACKPACK PROGRAM’S  first Stuff the Bus campaign was a success (more than 1\,600 pounds of food donated).   Now we are doing it again . \nPlease come to Saars this SATURDAY\, JANUARY 4\, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm to help fill a bus with nutritious food for the Tukwila Weekend SnackPack Program. \nThe Tukwila Weekend SnackPack Program provides food for Tukwila School District’s elementary children who do not have stable housing.   Each weekend and school break (when students do not have access to free school meals)\, the program provides backpacks full of nutritious food to more than 110 students. \nThank you\, and see you at Saars!
