Select your tickets according to your preferred seating time and menu (Chef’s Choice or Vegetarian).\n\nSpice Bridge is excited to launch a monthly fundraising dinner which highlights chefs from our Food Business Incubator. Dinners are held the second Monday of each month when Spice Bridge is closed to public. SUMMARY:Stories of Arrival Book Launch and Poetry Reading
DESCRIPTION:All are warmly invited on May 19th to celebrate the newest poetry anthology from Tukwila’s Stories of Arrival: Refugee & Immigrant Youth Voices Poetry Project at Foster High School. In collaboration with Spice Bridge\, the Book Launch and Poetry Reading will feature project poets reading from the new anthology.\n\nPublished by Seattle’s Chin Music Press\, the book has poems and art created by students from 17 different countries. Co-directed by poet Merna Ann Hecht and Foster High School Multilangual Learner Teacher Carrie Stradley\, the project has just completed its ninth year.\nStudents from the project will present their powerful work. In recognition of the generous community support and to celebrate these inspiring businesses\, join us for a special ceremony 5-6pm.
