World Refugee Day Event

June 20 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

FREE celebration at Foster High School on 20th June 2026, brings together families, students, artists, service providers, and community partners to uplift refugee voices through culture, storytelling, food, music, and connection.

World Refugee Day is observed globally each year to honor the resilience, strength, and cultural richness of refugees and displaced people around the world. This day invites communities to stand together in solidarity, celebrate the contributions of refugees, and advocate for safety, dignity, and the right to rebuild a life in peace.

In partnership with King County Library System, Wide World for Refugee, the City of Tukwila, and the International Rescue Committee (IRC), we are creating a welcoming space where every person feels seen, valued, and celebrated.
