Transportation Planning

The City operates and maintains 127 lane miles of commercial/industrial streets and 90 lane miles of residential streets, including, sidewalks, street lighting, traffic signs, signals, and cameras for 65 signalized intersections, hundreds of pedestrian crossings, several bus shelters, and 16 vehicle and 8 pedestrian bridges. Annual work programs include street sweeping, striping and marking, sign inventory and replacement, vegetation removal, pothole repairs, and traffic signal coordination.
