Community Police Academy

APPLY FOR THE COMMUNITY POLICE ACADEMY – FREE TRAINING STARTS ON MARCH 7!
The Community Police Academy will meet every Wednesday for 12 weeks from March 7 through May 30. There will be two Saturday classes as well for hands on firearms and driving training.
This is a 13-week opportunity for people who work or live in Tukwila to learn about the Tukwila Police Department and what officers have to know to do their job and also hear about what officers see and experience here in our City.
Some of the topics covered are:
- SWAT
- Local gangs
- The court process
- Firearms
- Civil Disturbance Unit
- Major Crimes Investigation
- And much more
