FREE Virtual Class – Zero Waste 101

City of Tukwila Free, virtual Earth Month Classes via Zoom!
Join us for fun, interactive classes with a live local sustainability expert in April. We are offering two classes. Classes are free, but registration is required.

Registration is open until a half hour before the event starts through this site . All registered participants will receive a Zoom link the day before the event or a half hour before the start of the event – if you register the day of.
Friday, April 15th; 12 :00PM-1:00PM: Zero Waste 101 .
Join us for an action packed hour on items YOU can do to reduce your waste. Attendees will learn how to make non toxic cleaners with common household items, how to store food properly to reduce wasted food and how to reduce packaging. We will also cover ways to reduce single use plastics and share new Washington state legislation that will reduce plastic waste.
