FREE Citizenship Assistance

Citizenship Day is a FREE, day-long workshop where volunteer immigration attorneys, paralegals, and interpreters come together to provide  assistance with citizenship applications. All lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders) interested in applying for U.S. citizenship are welcome to participate.

APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED.  Please  fill out our client intake form, or call or text (206) 926-3924 to request an appointment. Please make sure you bring all your  documents.  

If you have ever been arrested or convicted of a crime, even a minor crime, you must obtain  your final court disposition for EACH offense.

You can receive the same assistance at little to no cost at a nonprofit immigration services provider – find one near you here, and make an appointment. Or, you can contact a trusted immigration attorney near you. We also recommend CitizenshipWorks, a safe, free online tool that helps you begin filling out the application for citizenship yourself. If you are not in Washington state, members of the New Americans Campaign organize similar events beyond the Washington area.
