Restoration at Riverton

Join local neighbor& Forest Steward Debbie for an afternoon impacting the environment. Riverton Park’s large trees are threatened by invasive English ivy and Himalayan blackberry. These large trees are essential habitats for large raptors and wildlife. We aim to reestablish a healthy urban forest to border the community park. This is an example of how Tukwila can support urban wildlife within the park’s systems.

Open to the public.   All ages OK

What to Bring

Bring a full water bottle, snacks for yourself, weather-appropriate clothes, and closed-toed sh

Work parties are taking place next to the Gully Gardens P-Patch on the lower section of the park. You will see a 6ft toolbox (JOBOX) meet there.
