Provides the manner in which civil service (all police personnel and commissioned fire personnel) examinations, appointments, promotions, transfers, demotions, reinstatements, suspensions and discharges are made. This Committee provides policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to transportation, traffic, streets, water, sewer, surface water, power, public works facilities, street lighting and signals, solid waste and recycling, river basins and levees, telecommunications and fleet. Members are Chair Thomas McLeod, De'Sean Quinn, and Zak Idan.
