Duwamish Shoreline Work Party
April 16, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Come join us for our annual spring Duwamish Alive event! Be one of hundreds of volunteers who come out to the Green-Duwamish river for a day of environmental service!
At the Duwamish Shoreline, we will be tackling some invasive weeds along the bank of the River, and spreading mulch in hopes of keeping this habitat happy and healthy! We’ll have a great view of an osprey nest and some occasional otter and bunny sightings while we work next to the river. This is a great way to give back to your local community, and is also an awesome opportunity to meet some new faces, to get your hands dirty, and to get outside and connect with the Green-Duwamish River!
