Free Mobile Hazardous Waste Disposal in Des Moines

The King County Wastemobile operates from February through October each year.

Disposal at the Wastemobile is available on the dates listed from 10 am to 5 pm.

There is no fee for hazardous waste disposal. Marine flares are not accepted at the traveling Wastemobile.

Hazardous wastes accepted at the Wastemobile

• Limit 50 gallons per residential customer per trip (25 gallon limit for gas, oil, and antifreeze).
• Limit 25 gallons per business customer per trip.
• No containers larger than 5 gallons.
• For larger quantities or unusual waste, call us at 206-296-4692.
