Green Tukwila Partnership, 128th St. parcel

November 28, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join your neighbors in restoring a local stream and wetland Riverton Creek that needs your help with weed removal and stream restoration to enhance salmon habitat. Did you know that every small stream in Tukwila is important for the health of salmon and orcas? Come find out how every weed you pull matters and get involved in this local project!

What to bring:  Come dressed for the weather (rain or shine) in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (rubber boots, hiking/tennis shoes), long sleeves, long pants, warm layers and bring a rain jacket. We’ll have tools and gloves for you to use! Help reduce waste by bringing your own refillable water bottle if you have one.All ages are welcome, but we encourage all volunteers under the age of 15 to be accompanied by an adult. If you are a volunteer under 18 and attending the event without a parent or guardian, we will need to have a Youth Waiver Form.
