Parks Maintenance Opportunities
Seasonal Volunteer Leader and Parks Maintenance Worker ($21 – $23) Are you punctual, energetic, enthusiastic, a self-starter, and flexible with the ability to work weekend hours? Work closely with Green Tukwila’s Specialist and be trained to lead and work volunteer restoration and cleanup events in parks and on trails. Other duties include landscape maintenance tasks and data entry. You will split your time performing parks maintenance and supporting the Green Tukwila Partnership and will work a total of approximately 30 hours per week.
Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker ($21.00 – $23.00) Apply for one of these three positions – helping keep Tukwila’s 159 acres of parks and 12 miles of trails beautiful for our community.
Recreation Program Opportunities
Facility Attendant ($21 – $23) Multiple positions available! Are you highly motivated, proactive, and passionate about providing good customer service? As a Facility Attendant, you will assist and support recreation staff with the coordination of activities at the registration desk, oversee program and rental group usage, and provide assistance to participants.
Recreation Leader – Senior Programs ($21 – $23) Are highly motivated, proactive, and passionate about providing good customer service? As a Recreation Leader for our seniors you will assist by driving vans to various senior activities and events and participate or lead them in hikes and other fun activities.
Summer Recreation Leader 1 ($18 – $20) Multiple positions available! Work with our Youth & Teen Summer programs! This is a great opportunity to serve as a positive role model and make a difference in your community! Candidates can choose between four summer programs: Camp Tukwilly, TeenVenture Camp, Playground Program, and Outdoor Mobile Recreation.
Summer Recreation Leader 2 ($21 – $23) Multiple positions available! Work with our Youth & Teen Summer programs! This is a great opportunity to serve as a positive role model and make a difference in your community! You will assist the Recreation Site Supervisor and the Program Specialist with direct supervision of programs. This position is responsible for assisting in the planning, implementing and supervising activities, program participants, and subordinate staff.
Summer Recreation Site Supervisor ($24 – $27) Multiple positions available! This is a great opportunity to serve as a positive role model and make a difference in your community! You will play a supervisory role in planning and leading the Tukwila Parks and Recreation’s Summer Programming.
Foster Golf Links Opportunities
Seasonal Golf Cart Assistant ($18 – $20 / No Experience Needed) Apply for one of these two positions. Join the Foster Golf Links team during our busy season. This is an entry-level position and is responsible for performing several aspects of customer service.
Seasonal Golf Shop Assistant ($18 – $20 / No Experience Needed) Apply for one of these four part-time positions. Will assist at the Pro Shop counter supporting golf course operations during the busy season! Hours and days of work will vary. Will work approximately 16 – 30 hours per week depending on business needs.
