Appointment for City Council Position 6 Pro Tem

**Congratulations to Joe Torres Camacho, who was appointed by the City Council on August 25 to Councilmember pro tem for Position 6. Joe was sworn in on Tuesday, September 2, 2025**

The Tukwila City Council is seeking to appoint a Councilmember pro tem to Position 6. The term of office will be until the incumbent returns, resigns, or upon certification of the November 2027 General Election.

Applications were accepted through August 15, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The following applicants were verified by King County Elections as being eligible for the office.
