Roadway improvements for 53rd Avenue South from South 137th Street to South 144th Street are currently being designed. The improvements will include sidewalks, bike facilities, water, sewer, and storm water utilities. Undergrounding of overhead utility lines will also be included. Due to the limited right-of-way width of 40 feet, constructing the improvements within the existing right-of-way will be challenging.
Please attend the Open House to discuss the project, roadway layout options, and determine landowners’ willingness for possible donation of additional right-of-way.
