Beginning in January, the Finance Department will open to the public on Thursdays at 10:30am. Pushing back the opening time one day a week will provide two hours of dedicated time for staff training and collaboration opportunities. With responsibilities that include utility billing, business licenses, payroll and budgeting, the City’s objective is that this schedule will help ensure current financial best practices, ultimately leading to better service for the Tukwila community.
As of 2017, the Finance Department will be open to the public on the following schedule:
- Mondays, 8:30 – 5:00
- Tuesdays, 8:30 – 5:00
- Wednesdays, 8:30 – 5:00
- Thursdays, 10:30 – 5:00
- Fridays, 8:30 – 5:00
