At the April 15 City Council meeting, Mayor McLeod delivered his 2024 State of the City address. The speech highlighted some of his priorities in his administration which include creating an organization culture of customer service and accountability; a focus on public safety and emergency management; economic development and housing; and getting ready to welcome the world to Seattle and Tukwila for the 2026 World Cup.
