Learn More About SEA26
The FIFA World Cup 26TM is the world’s largest spectator event. It will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, with matches held in 16 host cities, including Seattle.
SeattleFWC26 is the local organizing committee for Seattle’s participation as one of the 16 host cities selected for the FIFA World Cup 26™ (FWC26).

Seattle will host six matches:
Group Stage
- Match 16: June 15, 2026
- Match 32: June 19, 2026
- Match 52: June 24, 2026
- Match 63: June 26, 2026
Round of 32
- Match 82: July 1, 2026
Round of 16
- Match 94: July 6, 2026
All six matches will be played at Lumen Field. FIFA will conduct the final draw for team match placements on December 5, 2025. We anticipate that many fans will make their travel plans soon after the draw.

The Seattle Sounders FC’s headquarters in Renton will serve as a base camp for one lucky team. Visiting teams will practice at University of Washington and Seattle University. At this time, we are not aware of any plans for visiting teams to practice at Starfire.
We expect hundreds of thousands of fans to visit our region over the three-week period.
The official Seattle Fan Celebration will take place at Seattle Center and there will be many related events around the region, including Tukwila.
