Adopt-A-Spot in Tukwila Parks
Have you noticed more litter in your favorite park or along the Green River Trail? You can help! Tukwila Parks and Recreation invites residents, community groups, and businesses to join the Adopt-A-Spot program.
This year-round partnership helps keep parks and trails clean, green, and welcoming for all.
How It Works:
1. Choose your spot.
Pick a park or section of trail you’d like to care for.
2. Sign up online.
Fill out the Adopt-A-Spot form.
3. Meet with staff.
We’ll provide a quick training and get you started with cleanup supplies.
What to Expect:
- Set your own schedule
- Cleanups can be casual—like a weekly walk with a trash bag
- Light landscaping or restoration optional
- Report your cleanups with a short form
- Leave collected trash in onsite bins or designated areas
We Provide:
- Gloves, trash bags, and litter pickers
Your Commitment:
- Follow safety guidelines
- Complete at least 4 cleanups per year
- Commit for 1 year or more
- Submit a quick report after each cleanup
