The People's Project - Your idea. Your voice. Your Tukwila.

Tukwila’s first-ever participatory budgeting initiative is now in the hands of the community.
Through The People’s Project, the City has committed $100,000 to fund small, high-impact projects that improve public spaces, support wellness, and strengthen community connections.
Now it’s your turn to decide how those funds are invested.
Voting Deadline: May 31, 2026
How It Works
Each participant receives 100,000 TukBucks to “spend” on the projects they care most about.
Use your TukBucks to fund one project or spread them across several.
Voting Instructions
- Review the proposed projects
- Allocate your TukBucks using the ballot
- Submit your vote
The projects with the most community support will be selected for implementation.
