SeattleFWC26 is the local organizing committee for Seattle’s participation as one of the 16 host cities selected for the FIFA World Cup 26™ (FWC26).

Seattle will host six matches:

Group Stage

Round of 32

  • Match 82: July 1, 2026

Round of 16

All six matches will be played at Lumen Field. Teams and times for the July 1 and July 6 matches will be determined by results from the Group Stage matches. We anticipate that many fans will make their travel plans as match ups are announced.

The Seattle Sounders FC’s headquarters in Renton will serve as a base camp for one lucky team.  Visiting teams will practice at University of Washington and Seattle University. At this time, we are not aware of any plans for visiting teams to practice at Starfire.

We expect hundreds of thousands of fans to visit our region over the three-week period.

The official Seattle Fan Celebration will take place at Seattle Center and there will be many related events around the region, including Tukwila.
