The Great Washington ShakeOut

Washington is at high risk for earthquakes. You could be anywhere when an earthquake strikes; at home, work, school, or even on vacation.

The Great Washington ShakeOut is an annual opportunity to practice how to be safe during an earthquake. ShakeOut has been organized to encourage you, your community, school, or organization to review and update emergency preparedness plans and supplies and to practice drop, cover, hold on.
